What We Do

Our Kiwanis club with the help of the East Lake Key Club and Greater West Pasco club made 17 no sew fleece blankets to give to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s office of child protection investigations division in December 2020.

On March 22, 2023, we presented Kate Kelly with Kimberly Home with over 30 baby blankets plus crocheted baby caps.

Blankets for Foster Children

In June 2022, our club with the help of community volunteers made 34 blankets that were presented to Ross Deitrich (in back row) with Lutheran Services Florida to be given to foster children.

Key Club College Scholarships

Our Kiwanis club raises funds for keyclub college scholarships and for Key Club members to attend the District Leadership Conference every year .

Sponsoring Palm Harbor University High School Key Club:

Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students.

Kiwanis Terrific Kids

Our Kiwanis club recognizes the student of the month with a goody bag.

The Terrific acronym stands for: thoughtful, enthusiastic, respectful, responsible, inclusive, friendly, inquisitive, capable.

K Kids Club at Elisa Nelson Elementary School

Children in grades 3 to 5 learn leadership skills by conducting meetings and planning service projects that benefit their school.

BUG (Bringing Up Grades)

When a student raises their grade in one or more subjects, they are recognized with a celebration of a pizza or ice cream party.
